"About My Felt Art"
Armature and Pliability
I want to tell you something great about the shape of most of my felted sculptures and figures.
The arms are always bendable due to the armature inside the figure which also helps holding the shape erect to some degree. The wool is sturdy enough when felted but the the beauty of having some kind of metal wire inside is that it enables us to re-position the arms and bend the neck and in some cases also the back of the figure the way we prefer.
So, you can see that you have some influence of the posture and therefore the mood of your soft felted friend.
I would really like you to keep this in mind when browsing around to make your choice of sculpture. They are actually pliable and adjustable. Isn't that great?!
